First mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Surveyed by Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), 1957, and named Nishino-ura (western cove). Nishino-ura Cove is located in the Country Antarctica. It is a cove(s) - a small coastal indentation, smaller than a bay . Nishino-ura Cove is also known as Nishino-ura Cove,Nisi-no-ura,Nisino-ura. ----
